Find Your “Thing” | Brand Me Unhinged | S1 E01
SHOW NOTES:
BRAND ME: UNHINGED | EP 1 — Find Your “Thing”
How to build a creator personal brand beyond a niche.
How to build a brand that connects your beliefs, skills, interests, and personality into a cohesive identity, using four pillars.
The four pillars
1. Worldview
The beliefs and transformation at the core of your brand. What do you stand for? What change do you want to create?
2. Vehicles
The skills, topics, tools, and services you use to deliver value. These are how you help your audience and generate revenue.
3. Audience
Audience = Worldview × Vehicles. The people who connect with your worldview and need your vehicles.
4. Main Character
The person who embodies your worldview. Define their personality, habits, values, lifestyle, and way of showing up. This is an intentional expression of yourself, not a fabricated identity.
The Daily Compass: Use the question “What would this person do?” to guide your decisions, behaviour, and content. Start with small, practical actions that align with the person you want to become.
Action items
Set a five-minute timer for each exercise:
-
Define your worldview: Write down the worldview or vision you believe in and are actively creating (e.g. a world where everyone is fully self-expressed, even in how they make their money)
-
List your vehicles: Identify the skills, services, and topics through which you deliver the transformation (e.g. marketing and business, inner or identity work, creativity as a spiritual path)
-
Define your audience: Identify the people who connect with your worldview, and need your vehicles. (e.g. conscious, creative, intuitive types. People who want to make money while being themselves and doing what they love)
-
Design your main character: Who is the person who effortlessly builds and maintains this worldview. Describe their traits, habits, lifestyle, and behavior.
Then use this question as a daily compass: What would this person do?
Continue living your life as is, but continue asking this question day-to-day. Try it with your next small decision, like what you will do once you're done reading my words.
Share your pillars in the comments if you want my feedback. In the next episode, we'll use this foundation to start developing your visual and verbal brand identity. :)
